Count Blocks - Up to 100

Learn to count groups of blocks and understand numbers up to 100!

Counting with Blocks

Blocks are wonderful tools for learning numbers!
When we count blocks, we can see how numbers grow bigger. Each block stands for "1", and when we put 10 blocks together in a line, we make a "ten". Counting to 100 is exciting when we use blocks to help us!

How to Count Blocks

1️⃣ Count by ones - Point to each block and say the number

2️⃣ Look for groups of ten - Count how many complete lines of 10 blocks you have

3️⃣ Add the extras - Count any extra blocks that don't make a full ten

Let's Practice Together!

Parent Tips 🌟

  • Make it physical: Use real blocks or small toys to practice counting. Kids learn best when they can touch and move objects.
  • Count by tens: Help your child recognize groups of ten by organizing blocks into lines or stacks of ten before counting.
  • Celebrate milestones: When your child counts to 50 or 100 for the first time, celebrate this big achievement!
